Day tour the Ouzoud Waterfalls starts from Marrakesh, leaving the Haouz plains on a 4 WDs to the East, you will cross farmlands and orchards of the olive tree, discover the Imi Ifri – Demnate’s natural bridge. Here you will stop to drink some mint tea and enjoy the magnificent view of the High Atlas mountains. Continue to Ouzoud and start with lunch break. Then take a walk to explore the famous waterfalls. Drive back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
The Ouzoud Waterfalls (Cascades d’Ouzoud), some of the surprising points of interest in Morocco, on a full-day tour from Marrakech. Located roughly ninety miles (150 kilometers) northeast of the town, the falls are the virtual village of Tanaghmeilt in the Atlas Mountains and take their identity from the Berber word “grinding grain.”
Upon arrival, you’re going to see the river dive 300 toes (a hundred meters) in a frustrating group of waterfalls that cascade one into yet another by way of three main and fresh drops. The remarkable roar soothes the soul like an ancient lullaby.
