Discover a part of the Moroccan Atlantic coast that stretches 3000 km. The area is known for its forests dotted with native trees such as the Argan tree. During Essaouira trek You will pass through remote cliffs formed by the force of the waves leaving remarkable forms and figures. The evening bivouac is always next to a beach where you can swim, without missing, of course, the marvelous sunset until clouds fade away. Walking along the coast brings together both mountain deserts (small dunes) Sea (sand and glistening covered with shells). You will pass through fishing villages and come across seabirds.
We start our Essaouira trek by taking a transportation to Tafdna where hiking begins (1h30 ride). Meeting with the camels’ team. We walk on a trail located in the mountain side by a green oak and almond forest and rocky cliffs carved by marine fluctuations. We end the day on a long, wide beach. Night stay on the bivouac.
This part is marked by beautiful cliffs and fishermen’s huts. The trail is easy to follow in the bushes. Night stay near the small waterfall of Sidi Mbark, not far from a beautiful beach. (Swimming fans).
Start the day with a walk on long-stretching beach with sands gleaming of shells. Hundreds of seabirds hover saying Hello. Arrival to the village of Sidi Kaouki. After lunch, we head back to Essaouira.
